Russia’s law enforcers could soon get their historical name back. Currently known as the militia, in Tsarist Russia they were called ‘Police’. The idea’s part of major reforms of the force, which has been dogged by accusations of corruption and inefficiency. Jacob Greaves looks at what else is in store for Russia’s cops.
