Google Nexus S Review Part 2 by Aaron Aaron reviews the Google Nexus S, the newest "Google Experience" device and the successor to the HTC Nexus One. It packs a 1 GHz processor, 4-inch Super AMOLED display, 5-megapixel camera, VGA front-facing camera, and Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). Besides the software, the specifications aren’t as revolutionary this time around. 1 GHz processors are common on high-end Android devices, and 5-megapixel cameras are a dime a dozen. The small advantage (for now) comes in the improved performance of Android 2.3. Oddly enough, the Nexus S is not an HSPA+ device. Given T-Mobile’s 4G marketing campaign, one would think that Google and Samsung would want to take advantage of it. Still, the HSPA connectivity has been good thus far, with download speeds in the 2-3.5 Mbps range. Aaron puts it through its paces in part two of a two-part review.
